Beachside Assessment and Therapy Services is a private psychology practice that is owned and operated by Dr. Benjamin Steinberg, a licensed, board certified clinical psychologist. Dr. Steinberg comes with over a decade of experience in treating children, teens, and adults. Beachside Assessment and Therapy Services is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidenced based psychotherapy and psychological testing services.
What is a "mobile" psychology testing?
Finding a local psychologist to perform testing for you or your loved ones can be challenging! By utilizing technology such as virtual webcam meetings and remote assessment, along with utilization of office space throughout New Jersey, potential clients are able to obtain testing and evaluations easier than ever! Plus, the portability of this practice allows us to keep costs down and pass the savings on to you!
How does it work?
First, you'll schedule your first appointment by calling us! The initial 15-minutes phone consultation with Dr. Ben is free. Dr. Ben will review the policies, fees, and procedures of the practice, get to know you a little bit, and determine if testing is a good fit for you or your loved one.

Prior to the initial appointment, you will be electronically sent important documents to read and sign. You will also be electronically sent assessments to be completed prior to attending the appointment. The initial appointment lasts approximately two hours. It consists of an interview with the client and any supporting family members (for example, partner or parent). By the completion of the interview, Dr. Ben will be able to determine which tests will need to be administered and how many further testing sessions will be necessary.

The final appointment, called the feedback session, will be scheduled at the time of the last testing session. This appointment is scheduled for one hour. It takes place virtually and the completed evaluation will be sent to you electronically. Dr. Ben will discuss the results and recommendations with you in detail and answer any questions you might have.
